Who are the Fenland Model Flying Club
We cater for the needs of aero-modellers in South Lincolnshire and North Cambridgeshire area. The club flying site is available for the use of Club Members & invited guests 7 days a week, from sun up to sun down. We have no noise restrictions. We operate under the local airfields ATZ and can for special events arrange with the airfield to lift the 400 foot ASL flight limit. We hold monthly meetings on the first Thursday in every month at the local Fenland Airfield, Holbeach St. Johns. Start time 1930 hrs.
We fly fixed wing power (i.c. Electric, Gas & Jet Turbine) models. Training is available for beginners, although at times we restrict the numbers joining us so that adequate time can be given to individuals to ensure their success. All the instructors are volunteers and so not paid for their time.
